Parallel Connection Guide
Expanding your system? Here’s what you need to know when connecting two batteries in parallel:
- Fully charge both batteries before joining them.
- Use 6AWG contacts on your Anderson plug for high currents.
- Ensure the cable size matches the length and load capacity required.
Once connected, you can utilize any remaining Anderson plugs on your Lightbase Ultra Slim Batteries to power accessories. The smart BMS (Battery Management System) ensures even discharge, no matter where loads or charging come from.
For the larger 150Ah model, you can also use the stud terminals to parallel batteries for higher load connections (such as an inverter). If you have multiple connections, consider installing a common +/- stud for streamlined power distribution.
Battery Monitoring Solution
These models do not come with built-in Bluetooth monitoring. Instead, we recommend using a Victron Smart Shunt to integrate monitoring into your system for real-time battery performance tracking.
